Coccicure | Coccidiosis Treatment for birds

Coccidiosis is one of the most common and most damaging parasitic diseases in captive birds and backyard poultry. Caused by Eimeria and Isospora species, it spreads rapidly through a flock via contaminated droppings, triggering bloody diarrhoea, weight loss, lethargy, and, in young birds, high mortality.

Coccicure delivers Amprolium — the gold standard anticoccidial drug — alongside Vitamin A and Vitamin K3. Amprolium blocks the thiamine uptake pathway coccidia need to complete their life cycle. Vitamin A supports rapid regeneration of intestinal mucosal cells damaged by the parasite. Vitamin K3 addresses the hemorrhagic component by supporting clotting function in birds with gut bleeding.

Treating with Amprolium alone misses the intestinal repair step — Coccicure addresses both the infection and the damage it causes.

Suitable for pigeons, budgies, parrots, cockatiels, and poultry. Essential for young birds under 6 months and any adult flock showing loose or bloody droppings.

Administer in drinking water for the full treatment course. Improve litter hygiene simultaneously — treatment without sanitation leads to rapid reinfection.
